What do you get with Linktree Free?
Linktree's Help Center lists its plan limits in one table. On the free plan you get 28 days of insights history, one link in the larger featured layout, up to three images in an image gallery, up to five questions in an FAQs link and 1,000 Instagram auto-reply DMs a month. You can add as many basic links as you like, pick a theme and share your page or its QR code. Note that the 28 days is how far back you can see detailed insights. Linktree still shows lifetime totals for views and clicks.

Does Linktree Free show ads?
It can. Linktree says it is running a limited test in which some free Linktrees, in eligible countries, may show visitors a brief ad after they tap a link and before they reach the destination. The ads are labeled, can be closed and come from third-party advertisers. Linktree doesn't list the countries in the test, and it says ads never appear on paid plans.
For a business, this adds a step before visitors reach your website. If a customer taps "Book now" and sees another company's ad first, that's an extra screen between them and your booking page. How much is Linktree Pro?
On October 18, 2026, Linktree's pricing page showed these prices.

The annual prices are per month but billed for the year up front, so Pro on annual billing comes to $144 a year. Sales tax may be added at checkout depending on your state. Every paid plan removes the ads and lets you apply for the verified badge. Starter adds link thumbnails, scheduled links, a redirect that sends every visitor to one link, and QR code scan counts. Hiding the Linktree logo starts on Pro, along with custom backgrounds, more fonts and QR code colors. Check the Linktree pricing page for current prices before you upgrade.
Can you use a custom domain with Linktree?
No, on any plan. Linktree's Help Center says it doesn't support custom domains. Every Linktree keeps a linktr.ee/yourusername address. You can change the username but not the linktr.ee part. If your business name is on your truck, your storefront and your business cards, that matters. A link like links.yourbusiness.com reads as yours. A linktr.ee address always reads as Linktree's.

It's enough when you only need a list of links, a month of detailed analytics covers what you look at, and you don't mind Linktree's branding.
It falls short when you need your own domain, year-over-year numbers for seasonal campaigns, a page without Linktree's logo, or a guarantee that no third-party ad sits between your customer and your checkout.
